Carbon Report

Carbon Report

The Carbon report is available for download from the Systems page. It is a summary of data analysis from smart meters and can be useful in calculating carbon savings.

The report produces the following data points:
Column
Explanation
System Name

Usage Time (hours)
The amount of time in hours that the flow rate was in 'usage' range. Usage is defined as flow above 150lph for > 2 minutes.
Usage volume (m3)
The volume of gas passed through the meter whilst the flow rate was in 'usage' range.
Usage events
The number of times the flow rate was detected in the usage range
Number of days with usage > 5 minutes
Number of days within the time period selected that there was usage for more than 5 minutes
Venting time (hours)
The amount of time in hours that venting was detected during the selected time period. See the venting analytics page for more details.
Venting volume (m3)
The estimated amount of gas vented. See the venting analytics page for more details.
Leaking time (hours)
The amount of time detected as 'leaking' from the smart meter's
flow rate. This is classed as anything between 20 and 150lph consistently for longer than 1 hour. See the leaking analytics page for more details.
Leaking volume (m3)
The amount of gas passed through the meter that was detected as leaking. See the leaking analytics page for more details.
Total gas volume passed through meter (m3)
The total amount of gas passed through the meter during the time period selected.
Offline days within time period
The number of days without any smart meter data for the system during the time period. This only includes days after the system is registered.
Offline rate within time period (%)
Offline days / total number of days in the time period
Expected biogas production (m3)
Based on the size of the digester associated with the system and the climate selected. This is the estimated amount of gas produced by the digester during the selected time period.
Total biogas production (m3)
The amount of gas passed through the meter + venting volume.
Production performance rate
Total biogas production / expected biogas production
Usage performance rate
Usage volume / expected biogas production
Usage volume rate
Usage volume / Total biogas production
