Notifications and Issues
Issues are detected and displayed for each system when something unusual has happened either with the Smart Biogas meter itself or with the digester. Issues are displayed in the 'Systems' table and on the data page of the system itself with a snapshot in the top section with further details of currently open issues and previously resolved issues at the bottom of the page. Systems can be filtered by issue using the filters available on the Systems page.
The following issues are currently supported:

Offline | The Smart Biogas meter has not sent data for more than 24 hours | No network, no power. | Check the network in the area. Check the unit is turned on and has a charged battery inserted. | |
No Charging | No electricity has been charging the battery for more than 24 hours | No external power source plugged in. External power source failure. | Check the external power source - either the solar panel or plug adapter. Solar panel may need cleaning and needs to be in sunlight for as long as possible during the day. Check cables from solar panel or adapter to the Smart Biogas unit. | |
| Constant Flow | The flow sensor is showing a constant non-zero flow rate continuously for more than 12 hours | Possible sensor failure. Sensor tubes are not attached properly. | Ensure sensor connection is as expected. Check sensor tube connections to venturi and sensor. Check with a member of the Smart Biogas support team. | |
| No Pressure | Pressure readings have been showing 0Pa for more than 7 days | No pressure sensor is attached. Sensor tubes are unconnected. Smart Biogas meter is installed after a valve which is kept closed. | Check sensor connection and sensor tube connections. Check Smart Biogas meter location. | |
No Usage | Flow rates have not risen above a usable flow rate for more than 7 days. A usable flow rate is above 150lph. | User has not used any gas for 7 days. No gas is available. | Liaise with end user. |
Issues, other than 'offline' are only detected if data has been sent and information is received.
Issues are resolved when the scenario is no longer detected or no data has been received for 7 days. For example, if a unit displays constant flow for 12 hours, then goes offline, the issue will remain open until 7 days of not data have passed.
Notifications
The notifications icon in the top right, next to your profile picture shows a list of issues in order of the most recently detected. You will be alerted when new issues have been detected and you are able to directly navigate to that system's data page.
