Replace, Reuse and Remove Smart Biogas Devices
Remove a customer
You can remove a customer on Smart Biogas. Go to the customer’s page, and you will find a delete icon. Take care as this cannot be undone.
Replace a smart meter
If you wish to replace an existing smart meter with a new one, this can also be done through the Smart Biogas platform. You must edit the customer’s smart meter ID within their registration form. You can remove the existing ID and replace it with the new one. You cannot leave the entry blank.
Reusing a smart meter
Smart meters that have already been used (i.e. belonged to a deleted customer, or have been replaced with a new device) can be registered to another customer. You need to wait for one hour after the device gets installed for the new customer; it will be available again to register for the new customer. Please get in touch with us with the Smart Meter ID if you cannot do it.
